The IRMHUB consortium brings together a wide range of organisations from Estonia, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Spain, and is coordinated by the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece). It integrates universities, technology centres, public administrations, innovative SMEs, and industrial clusters, ensuring a truly multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach.
The project is structured around three regional hubs located in Southern, Northern, and Central-Eastern Europe, with a total of 26 partners: 14 full partners and 12 associated partners, representing 18 regions across 9 EU countries and Serbia.

The project will establish 3 regional Hubs focusing on:

Wind energy and electric mobility

Battery materials

Metals and rare earth elements for microchips
These Hubs will be connected through a central Meta-Hub, acting as a coordination, integration, and knowledge transfer structure. A mapping of capacities and investment opportunities will also be developed to accelerate the transition towards sustainable value chains.
